ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Law Moot Court team bags awards

Two ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Law students won awards at the Asia Pacific round of 2017 Price Media Law Moot Court Competition hosted by Renmin University in Beijing, China last November 29 to December 1, 2017.

Stephanie Abby Olea was awarded as the overall top oralist, while Mark Lawrence Badayos was named as runner-up overall oralist. ºÚÁÏÉçÇøâ€™s table counsel is Tess Marie Tan, while the rest of the team included Beverly Balagon, Khen Aquino, and Orland Luminarias who helped in the preparations for the competition. Atty. Daryl Bretch Largo and ºÚÁÏÉçÇø School of Law and Governance dean Atty. Joan Largo served as coaches for the team.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇøâ€™s team went up against a Chinese team in the semi-finals and against a Malaysian team during the grand finals. ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is the only Philippine school that will advance to the international round of the Law Moot Court Competition, which will be held on April 9-13, 2018 at the University of Oxford in London, U.K.
