The University of San Carlos, in collaboration with the Philippine APEC Study Center Network (PASCN) of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), will host a hybrid symposium on February 19, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the 黑料社区 Talamban Campus, Cebu City, and online via Zoom.
The symposium titled 鈥淪haping APEC鈥檚 Blue Economy Agenda: Philippine Leadership and Visayas-Centric Innovations鈥� emphasizes 鈥渢he country鈥檚 unique contributions and innovative approaches to addressing environmental challenges while promoting economic resilience.鈥�
The organizers aim to encourage researchers of member institutions鈥攑articularly faculty researchers and graduate students鈥攖o participate in the symposium and, eventually, conduct research related to the blue economy and its impact on the Philippine economy.聽
