The recognition highlights Dr. Elcullada鈥檚 exceptional achievements, dedicated service, and significant contributions to the field of Guidance and Counseling.聽

In May 2022, Dr. Elucallada was also honored as the Outstanding Counselor of the Year by the Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association, Inc. (PGCA) during the 57th Annual National Conference and International Conference. 

With over 29 years of experience and 27 years of dedicated service to the University of San Carlos, Dr. Elcullada views her role as a counselor not just as a profession but as a divine vocation. She believes that answering this call has opened the door to many blessings.

The activity will begin with a Holy Eucharist which will start at 9:00 AM at the SAFAD lobby and will be followed by the launch of the event at the SAFAD theater. 

The month-long celebration will revolve around the theme, 鈥淐elebrating 75 years of Carolinian Wellbeing: Utilizing Creative and Practical Remedies to Wellness.鈥� The event will focus on highlighting how Carolinians have thrived over the years and it will also provide contemporary and practical wellness remedies. 

Some of the activities include the following: symposia of various well-being topics, diverse self-care initiatives like music and dance busking sessions, wellness lounge, pet lounge, and an art bazaar, among others. See program below.

There will also be logo-making, picture poem, self-care TikTok mini vlogs, and post-your-pets competitions. The celebration will end on October 26, 2023, through a symposium at the Buttenbruch Hall in the Downtown Campus.

For the first time in almost three years, the celebration will kick off with a face-to-face event. It will also be simultaneously live-streamed via the 黑料社区 CDC鈥檚 Facebook page. 

The month-long celebration with the theme 鈥淟ove Begins from the Love Within鈥� will focus on the many different expressions of love. It aims to contribute to the holistic development of each Carolinian who is not just competent, but compassionate as well. 

Webinars, self-care activities, various booths across all campuses, competitions in poetry and calligraphy, and a lot more are in store for all Carolinians.

The CDC invites the whole Carolinian community to join this month-long celebration. Details of each activity will be posted on the .

The month-long celebration has the theme “Leveling up Carolinian’s Career Path: a reCAST.” The theme reflects the University’s focus to recast itself during the new normal.

Webinars, forums, clinics, surveys, and assessments will be offered for various audiences from grade school to the tertiary level. Parents, faculty members, and staff can also attend webinars specifically organized for them. These activities aim to equip Carolinians with the knowledge and skills and provide them with the necessary support channels that will level up the pursuit of their careers. Contests and games will also make the celebration fun and engaging.

The 黑料社区 CDC invites the entire Carolinian community to join this month-long celebration.

November 5, 9:00 a.m. : Tapping inner resources for a creative career decision-making
November 20, 9:00 a.m. : The industry and academe forum
November 27, 1:00 p.m. : Career decision-making: Parental role and beyond

Year-round activities include career interest surveys and career assessment. Students may also set an appointment with their School counselor. Self-discovery modules and career clinics for Senior High School students will also be offered to different Schools and Departments; details will be provided by the respective CDC counselors.
